Hair systems are more popular now than ever, and thanks to the advent of the Internet, men around the world can buy their hair systems privately and easily. A common question that men have when buying a hair system is whether the hair in stock will work or if custom hair is needed.

There are many differences between standard hair systems and custom hair systems. The first difference is the price. Standard hair systems are much less expensive than custom hair systems because they are physically stored in inventory and ready to ship when a customer places an order. Another difference is the delivery time. In-stock hair systems are generally ready to ship immediately, or if sold through a third party, it could take up to a week. On the other hand, custom hair systems are made to order. This means that when an order for a custom hair system is placed, the hair replacement company then passes the order to a manufacturer and the custom hair system is produced from scratch. This process can take as little as 4 to 6 weeks, but up to 8 to 12 weeks, depending on the time of year. The last major difference is that custom hair systems are made to specifications that are specific to a single client, so the fit and appearance will be 100% natural. Standard hair systems are made to fit general specifications that a good percentage of all men will fit into.

So how do you decide? The first and most important thing you need to know is your base size. In general, stock systems are around 7 inches wide and 9 inches long. Give or take an inch from either. This means that if your base size is equal to or less, you will have a good chance of being eligible for an inventory system. Another problem is color. Some colors are less popular than others and are therefore less likely to be carried in physical inventory. If your color is jet black or medium brown, it has a more common color and you can probably find a matching hair system. Systems can be tinted to change color if absolutely necessary, so it's not as important as the base size, but if you find yourself using a more unusual color, you may want to consider custom systems as a long-term solution term. Another thing to consider is the desired longevity of the system. Inventory systems generally do not last as long as custom systems. Although many custom systems can also have a short lifespan, depending on the material, generally if the customer is concerned with longevity it can be easily addressed by producing a custom hair system simply by using a more durable base construction. https://www.hollywoodlace.com/
