I have found great solace and healing through prayers that I learned from the teachings of Akram Vignan. The teachings and principles of Akram Vignan have deeply resonated with me, leading me to a better understanding of myself and how to navigate through difficult times. Here, through prayer, I have discovered comfort during times of hardship, clarity in moments of confusion, and a sense of inner peace that surpasses any physical or emotional turmoil.

Different types of prayers that helped me heal:

● The Morning prayer. What we give is what we get. If we intend to cause harm to somebody, then somebody shall cause us harm. Therefore, I learned to pray every morning that, “May no living being be caused the slightest hurt through any of my thoughts, words or actions.” This intent helped me heal emotionally.

● Pratikraman is a process of seeking forgiveness. Any pain or suffering that we experience in life is solely because of some other mistake that has happened to us in the past. And therefore, every night, we recall all our mistakes that may have happened through the day and we seek forgiveness from God for each of them by praying to Him, “Dear God, I have made so and so mistakes in the past. Please forgive me. And also, grant me strength so that I never make this mistake again.” This prayer has enormous healing power! It heals not only our wounds but also the wounds of the person to whom we have caused harm in the past. We can see our wounds, but these wounds do not happen without us having caused similar wounds to others. We may or may not know the person to whom we may have caused harm in the past birth, but what matters is we remember God (seated in that person whom we caused hurt or harm) and make this prayer to Him. Pratikraman helps us heal our mental trauma and it also heals our relationships.

● Trimantra. This is a prayer that possesses great power. It gives us strength to combat every obstacle that we come across in our day-to-day life and come out strong. It is advised to recite this mantra five times, staying fully present and focused, in the morning as well as evening. Even a single recitation of the Trimantra can alleviate forthcoming difficulties, lessening their impact when they arise. And during times of physical challenges or emotional crisis, dedicating an hour to this prayer proves to be advantageous. This prayer helps us heal spiritually and uplifts us on the path of liberation.

● Chanting the prayer "Dada Bhagwan Na Aseem Jai Jai Kar Ho!" helps heal any kind of suffering and it brings about significant strength in attracting positive circumstances and calming the mind during times of adversity like major obstacles in life, mental or physical ailments, inner turmoil, anxiety or challenging relationships. For optimal results, it is best to recite the prayer for a duration ranging from eight minutes up to forty-eight minutes.

“A prayer from one’s true heart (sincere prayer) will bring up the circumstances (to fulfill it).” ~ Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan

Through Akram Vignan, I have also learned how to pray properly, so that our prayers yield the right results:

● Prayer should be done heartily and with pure intention. Only then, will it yield results.

● During prayer, we avoid distractions and direct our entire attention towards God and the prayer. This helps bring the right evidence required to get the task done.

● Prayers should be for virtuous causes that help others and benefit the masses, and not for fulfilling selfish desires or intentions that could cause harm to others. When we pray for the welfare of all, we get included naturally.

● Prayers should be done with closed eyes while focusing on and visualizing each letter or word.

In a given situation, we have two choices in life, either to suffer or to ask for help from God through prayer! To pray means to ask for something; it is a special request made to God. When we pray, we experience peace and find solutions to all our troubles. Prayer should always be done from the heart, rather than the intellect.

Thus, when you are feeling tense, worried, confused, troubled, or in doubt, just relax and pray to God. You will soon find the healing happening physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and it shall help you progress on your way forward and arrive at a solution. That is the phenomenal power of prayers!

Author's Bio:

Ambalal M. Patel was a civil contractor by profession. In June 1958, spontaneous Self-Realization occurred within Ambalal M. Patel. From this point on, Ambalal became a Gnani Purush, and the Lord that manifested within him became known as Dada Bhagwan. A Gnani Purush is One who has realized the Self and is able to help others do the same. Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan used to go from town to town and country-to-country to give satsang (spiritual discourse) and impart the knowledge of the Self, as well as knowledge of harmonious worldly interactions to everyone who came to meet him. This spiritual science, known as Akram Vignan, is the step-less path to Self-realization.
