2. Meditation is also considered to be one of the most efficient home remedies for alcoholism. Practicing yoga is also equally beneficial. Regular practice of meditation and yoga calms your mind and gives you confidence to fight the craving.

3. Grapes can also prove to be very beneficial in treating alcoholism. It is known to contain a very pure form of alcohol which works perfectly well as an alte
ative to alcohol. Consume grapes after every four to five hours for next one month.

6. Take some bitter gourd leaves and extract their juice. Now take a glass filled with buttermilk and add three teaspoons of this juice in it. Drinking this mixture on regular basis will heal the damaged liver and will treat alcoholism.

7. To suppress the craving, one can try drinking a glass of carrot juice. This will reduce the urge and will provide the body with essential nutrients.

8. Take three to four dates and remove their seeds. Now blend these dates with half a glass of water and consume twice every day for one month. This is quite an effective natural remedy for alcoholism.

9. Try to avoid consumption of white sugar, white flour, macaroni products and white rice. You can replace these food products with brown sugar, brown rice, whole grain products and green leafy vegetables.

10. You can every try to drink either lemon juice or orange juice to prevent the urge for alcohol. Drinking one glass of any one of these juices every day will prove to be quite helpful.

11. Eating banana on regular basis is also very useful in treating alcoholism.
