Discoloration of the skin or tiny spots which you may get as a result of suntan, boils, itching, pigmentation, acne, pimples and rashes are known as blemishes. These blemishes can sometimes spoil the beauty of a person and can be difficult to hide by makeup.

Blemishes Home Remedies

There are several home remedies for blemishes which are simple to follow and easy to use. Some of the popular home remedies for blemishes are:

1. One of the most effective home remedies for blemishes is to mix a spoonful of curd, two spoonfuls of gram flour, a pinch of turmeric and few drops of lemon juice together. Make them into a paste and apply to your face on regular basis. After using it for few times you will get to see it effects.

2. Raw potato juice is considered to be one of the effective home remedies for blemishes. All you need to do is cut potato in thin slices and rub them on your face before going to sleep. This method will help in clearing skin blemishes and wrinkles and will also help in lightening suntan marks.

3. Take some orange and lemon peels and dry them. Now make them into fine powder and mix curd water and rose water in it. Apply this mixture to your skin.

4. Honey is known to have antibacterial properties and can be used to treat blemishes. All you need to do is take some fresh honey and apply it directly on your skin. You can even try using a mixture of honey with cinnamon powder or turmeric powder on regular basis to reduce blemishes.

5. Take five to six almonds and soak them in water for a whole night. Next morning grind these almonds to make a fine paste. Add little honey and few drops of lemon juice to this paste and mix well. Now apply this mixture to the affected area. Repeat this procedure on daily basis.

6. Lemon juice is also very effective for treating blemishes. Just before going to sleep take some lemon juice and apply it directly on your face. Lemon juice is known to act as a natural bleaching agent and is very helpful in lightening up the skin.

7. Another easy way is to drink lots of water. This will keep your skin hydrated and will detoxify it.

8. Tea tree oil is another excellent home remedy. It is a natural antimicrobial agent which is very helpful in treating blemishes and prevents the formation of new ones. Just apply it directly on the affected region of the body. If you have a sensitive skin then you can try diluting it with water and then use.

9. Take some coarsely ground green gram and make them into a paste. Now apply this paste on the affected area in order to cleanse and exfoliate it. Regular use of this remedy will make your skin become lighter.

10. Take some fresh neem leaves and crush them to make a paste. Now apply this paste on your skin. This will be very helpful in reducing the blemishes.
