The condition of cervical spondylosis can be defined as wear and tear of joints and discs of cervical spine. Moreover, it affects men and women older than 40 years. Also, in India it is known as salai guggul, and the purified resin of this tree is used for relieving pain and inflammation of cervical osteoarthritis, and other arthritis generated pains.

3. Giloy or tinospora cordifolia is a world known immuno-modular. According to recent studies, this herb is useful in the auto-immune disorders, especially arthritis, and cervical osteoarthritis.

4. Ashwagandha or withania somnifera is also an important herb to treat cervical osteoarthritis. In western countries this herb is popular as Indian ginseng. This herb is well known for its anti-stress, anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties.
