Home Remedies For Chickenpox, Easy And Simple Natural Cure

Chickenpox, also known as varicella is a highly contagious disease which happens mostly in children. It is caused by varicella-zoster virus. Chickenpox basically causes distinctive blisters. Due to severe itching and skin irritation many children either scratch or burst these blisters. This results into severe and permanent scars. Chicken pox mostly happens to children between the age group of 2 to 8.
Chickenpox Home Remedies
There are several home remedies for chickenpox which are easy to follow and convenient to use. Some of the popular home remedies for chickenpox are:
1. One of the most effective home remedies for chickenpox is the use of oatmeal. All you need to do is add two cups of oats in two liters of water and cook for almost fifteen minutes. Once cooked put this mixture in cotton bag and tie this bag properly. Now dip this bag in a bathtub with water and make your kid bathe in it.
2. Brown vinegar is considered to be one of the effective home remedies for chickenpox. Prepare a lukewarm bathwater and add half cup of vinegar into it. Now bathe with this water. It will not only reduce the irritation but also help in healing the lesions.
3. Take a cup of water and add hazel leaves (one teaspoon) and marigold flowers (two tablespoons) and let them steep ove
ight. Next morning all you need to do is grind this mixture and apply directly on the rash. This will give relief from the itching.
4. Stay away from crowded place and keep your clothes and vessels separate from the reach of your family members, so that they do not contact disease from you.
5. Include lots of fruits and vegetables in your diet and try to avoid spicy and oily food.
6. Baking soda is also one of the effective home remedies for chickenpox. Just take a glass of water and add half teaspoon of baking soda into it. Now take a sponge and soak it into this solution. Sponge the affected person with this solution. The soda will dry on the skin and will help in controlling irritation and itchiness.
7. Take two cups of water and mix coltsfoot leaves (one teaspoon), queen of the meadow (two tablespoon) and marigold flowers (two teaspoon) in it. Now boil this mixture for twenty minutes and then strain it. Cool this mixture and consume it one time daily.
8. Take some lemon balm, basil, chamomile tea, and marigold and make a tea out of them. Now add honey, pinch of cinnamon and lemon. Drink this tea several times in a day.

E oil and apply it directly on the rashes. Vitamin E oil is very helpful in removing the scars as well as preventing the itching.
10. Prepare your bathwater and then add some handful of neem leaves into it. Taking bath with this water will cure the irritation and give healing effect.
11. Green peas are also very effective in treating chickenpox. Just boil some green peas in water. Strain the water and apply this water directly to the affected area. It will give you relief from the itching and irritation.
