1. One of the simplest home remedies for dry cracked hands is to use a mixture of lemon juice and honey. All you need to do is mix them together and apply on your hands. Both of them will act as a disinfectant and will help in restoring the smoothness and healing the peeled parts of the skin.
2. Vitamin E oil acts as an antioxidant moisturizer and is very helpful in filling up the fissures and healing the dry skin. All you need to do is take two vitami

3. Olive oil or petroleum jelly can also prove to be very effective in treating dry and cracked hands. Apply olive oil or petroleum jelly in generous amount on your hands. This will prevent your hands from losing any moisture and at the same time will provide your hands with soothing and healing properties.
4. Avoid excessive hand washing as it can cause dryness of the skin. Instead of hot water it is better to use warm water and it is better not to use soap. You can use non-soap cleansers in place of your regular soap.
5. Always cover your hands with gloves and make it a habit to change these gloves on regular intervals. This will prevent your hands from getting exposed to the harsh environment and will also help in quick healing.
6. Take some fresh lime juice and granulated sugar. Use them together as a scrub. All you need to do is apply this mixture on your hands and wait for a minute. Now wash your hands with water and pat it dry with a towel. The lime juice will help in reducing the dark spots and the sugar will help in exfoliating the surface of the skin. Or you can even try using a paste of water and baking soda in order to exfoliate the skin followed by immediate use of moisturizer.
