The problem of dryness in hair is really irritating, and every person faces this problem once in a while. But, the people with dry hair can try the simple home remedies for dry hair to keep the problem in check. Actually, the dryness is due to lack of oil and moisture in the scalp due to which the hair has straw like texture. The head of a normal person contains nearly 160,000 hairs. Moreover, the normal moisture content is 10 percent and, when the mentioned moisture level decreases it turns to the problem of dryness in the hair. In such condition the home remedies for dry hair is very capable of retaining the needed moisture content.
There are many causes for raising such unwanted problem of dryness in the hair. Firstly, the most common cause is excessive washing of hair especially with harsh shampoos. The contents of harsh shampoos strip the moisture from the hair. Also, shampooing everyday is vogue these days but it can wash the health of scalp along with the dirt, particularly the shampoo can wash the protective natural oils of the hair. The home remedies for dry hair will help to increase the level of natural oils of the hair. Secondly, people with anorexia condition also suffer from dryness in the hair. Moreover, such people practices to eat less than the basic body needs. In addition, such practice creates a lack of essential nutrients in the body which may lead to dryness in the hair. Thirdly, the prime cause for dryness in hair is malnutrition.
Moreover, as mentioned about anorexics, a person suffering from malnutrition also lacks the essential nutrients and may suffer from dryness in the hair. And, at last but not least the environment also plays an important role in drying the hair. Moreover, people living in the environment where humidity is very less and dry heat is more can suffer from dry hair more, compared to those people who live in the humid environments. Whatever may be the cause the home remedies for dry hair can smoothen the hair by providing essential moisture to the hair. Also, some home remedies for dry hair are mentioned below that are found be most effective.
1. Egg can provide the needed results. First of all separate the white of an egg from the yolk, and whip the white portion thoroughly. Now add one tablespoon of water in the yolk and blend the mixture until the composition is creamy. Moreover, add the white and the creamy mixture together, and wash hair with lukewarm water. Now massage the mixture on the scalp with fingers for 15 to 20 minute and rinse the hair with cold water.
2. Take some mayonnaise and heat it until it releases oil. Apply it directly on the hair, and let it rest for 15 minutes. Rinse the hair thoroughly.
3. Take one over ripen banana and one rotten avocado. Mash them together and apply on the hair and let it rest for 20 minutes. After that rinse the hair thoroughly.
To summarize, there are many factors that may lead to dryness of hair. But, the home remedies for dry hair is the best way to treat the condition as these remedies work naturally. Also, it is important to use the mentioned remedies regularly until the hair retains the essential oils.
