Home Remedies For Excessive Armpit Sweating That Work

Armpit sweating is a normal bodily process and is not a disease. But sometimes excessive sweating can be caused due to a condition known as hyperhydrosis. There are several factors which can cause excessive sweating such as hypertension, menopause, stress, constipation, improper digestion, low sugar and metabolic dysfunction. Symptoms of excessive sweating may include body odor and too much sweat on the armpit region.
Home Remedies
There are several home remedies for armpit sweating which are simple to use and are quite safe to try at home without any risk of side effects. Some of the popular home remedies for armpit sweating which are being used since a very long time and have proved to be quite effective in many cases are:
1. One of the simplest home remedies for sweating is to take shower twice daily. This home remedy will prevent excessive sweating of the arms and will keep you fresh all day.
2. Camphor is considered to be one of the most efficient home remedies for armpit sweating. It is known to have astringent properties and reduces sweating by tightening the pores of the skin. All you need to do is take some camphor and make it into a fine powder. Now mix this camphor power in a bottle of water. Apply this mixture on your armpits on regular basis for the next two weeks.
3. Apple cider vinegar is equally beneficial in treating armpit sweating. Just before going to bed rub apple cider vinegar on your armpits. Allow it to stay there for the whole night and the next morning wash properly with water and dry your underarms. Apply your regular deodorant on the armpits. The apple cider vinegar prevents the growth of bacteria and makes the skin dry. Incase if you are having any side effects immediately discontinue its use.
4. Baking soda is very helpful in killing the bacteria that cause body odor and it also absorbs moisture from the skin. First apply your regular deodorant on your underarms and then take half to one teaspoon of baking soda and dust it on your underarms.
5. Make it a daily routine to exercise regularly and consume a diet rich in fiber and green leafy vegetables.
6. Juice of turnip is very helpful in treating excessive sweating of armpits and also reduces the foul smell associated with sweaty arms. Just consume turnip juice on daily basis for better results.
7. Tomato juice can also be used to prevent excessive armpit sweating. Just take few cups of tomato juice and add it in your regular bathing water. Now soak your body in this water for fifteen minutes.
8. After taking your bath you can try rubbing your armpits with lemon. This natural home remedy will prevent excessive armpit sweating and will reduce the odor.
9. Witch hazel is also one of the effective products which can help in reducing armpit sweating. Take a cotton ball and soak it in witch hazel. Now rub this cotton ball on your armpits every morning.
