Freckles are not very common skin ailment, unlike other skin marking we looked at, but the home remedies for freckles can easily treat this skin ailment effectually. Moreover, these are small circular spots of melanin which are flat, and more common in peoples having fair complexion. In addition, these annoying spots develop on the skin randomly, but these spots are more common in the skin of peoples who has to suffer from repeated exposure to sunlight. The home remedies for freckles are capable in treating these spots very efficiently. These spots may range in color; these spots may be red, yellow, black, tan, light-brown or brown.

There are two types of freckles. Firstly, ephelides, which are red or brown colored spots. In addition, this type is more visible in sunny weather, but this type fades during winter. Secondly, lentigines, which are smaller and darker that ephelides-type, brown or black in color, and do not fade in winters. Moreover, the home remedies for freckles are found to be effective on both types of spots.

There are many causes for this skin ailment, but too much exposure to sunlight is considered to be the prime cause for these embarrassing spots. In addition, there is a cell called melanin which may accumulate at one place, due to which these spots occur. Moreover, hormone abnormalities may cause these spots, especially estrogen is considered to over stimulate the pigment productions, due to which this skin ailment may occur. The home remedies for freckles will help to treat the cause of the problem, and thus, it will resolve the problem.

There are some symptoms of this skin ailment. Firstly, changes in the color of skin. Secondly, diarrhea may be the symptom of this skin ailment. Thirdly, abdominal pain or weight loss may cause these spots to appear on skin. Fourthly, some times moles may appear at the affected parts of the skin. Finally, blood or mucus in stool may also lead to this skin ailment.

There are many home remedies for freckles, but few most effective homemade remedies are mentioned ahead. In addition, once a person is sure about the presence of these spots in his skin, the home remedies for freckles will help him to get rid of these pesky spots.

1. Lemon juice is well known for skin ailments. In addition, the active ingredients of lemon bleach the dark spots. Apply few drops of lemon juice on the affected areas, and leave it for 15 minutes. Rinse the skin with water.

2. Take warm honey, and add little amount of wheat germ in it. Apply it on the affected areas, and let the mixture work for 10 minutes. Rinse the skin with warm water, and then with cold water.

3. Take equal amounts of parsley juice, red currant juice, lemon juice and orange juice, and mix them properly. Also, add your favorite cream in the mixture, and apply it on the affected areas.

4. At night, apply castor oil on the affected areas, and leave it ove
ight. In the morning wash the skin with mild soap.

5. Mix equal amounts of sesame seeds powder with turmeric powder. Add enough amount of rosewater in the mixture to form paste consistency. Apply it on affected areas of skin to get rid of spots.
