Home Remedies For Gastritis That Are Simple To Use and Safe

A condition in which there is inflammation of stomach lining is known as gastritis. There are certain factors which can cause gastritis such as alcohol abuse, viral infection, bacterial infection, anemia, unhealthy lifestyles, gastric ulcers, spicy foods and heavy foods. Some of the common symptoms of gastritis are pain, heaviness, uneasiness, depression, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, weariness, constipation, problem in urine discharge and foul smell from mouth.
Gastritis Home Remedies
There are several home remedies for gastritis which are simple to use and are quite safe to try at home without any risk of side effects. Some of the popular home remedies for gastritis which are being used since a very long time and have proved to be quite effective in many cases are:
1. One of the most effective home remedies for gastritis is to drink coconut water. It is a healthy drink which is very nutritious and helps in keeping the temperature of body cool. All you have to do is drink coconut water three to four times on daily basis.
2. Ginger is considered to be one of the most efficient home remedies for gastritis. It helps in the digestion of food and is very effective in treating gastritis. All you need to do is crush a small piece of ginger and add coriander in equal quantity to it. Now you can consume this mixture.
3. Take some potato and extract their juice. You can drink half cup of potato juice half hour before your meals two to three times every day. This is a very effective natural remedy for gastritis.
4. Take half liter of orange juice, four chaya leaves, aloe vera leaf (6 cm) and one fourth piece of white onion. Blend them together with a blender and consume two times in a week for next three weeks. This home remedy will prove to be quite beneficial in treating gastritis.
5. Drink lots of water every day to keep the temperature of your body normal and cool. It is recommended to drink eight to nine glasses every day. Water helps in flushing out the toxins from body and can prove to be quite helpful in treating gastritis.
6. Hot water bottle or hot compresses can also be used to treat gastritis. Place hot water bottle on your stomach twice every day. After using hot water bottle you should remember to keep a gap of at least two hours before you use it again.
7. Boil a cup of water and then add licorice root (half teaspoon) in it. Allow it to steep for ten minutes and then strain the liquid. You can drink this tea three times every day for better results.
8. After taking your meals make it a daily habit of chewing some roasted fennel. Regular practice of this natural remedy will give you good results.
9. Avoid consumption of red pepper, meat, coffee, tea, pickles, sour food, aerated water, pastries, cakes and sweets. You should also quit smoking and stop drinking alcohol.
These are some of the most effective home remedies for gastritis which are simple to use, cost-effective and are convenient to try at home.
