Home Remedies For Nail Fungus Can Eliminate Microbe Quickly

Nail fungus is medically recognized as onychomycosis. Onychomycosis occurs due to a very small microorganism that infects the nails. This microbe is scientifically known as dermatophytes. Moreover, this microbe is a kind of fungus. In addition, it is well known that fungi are parasitic plant microbes, for example molds or mildew. The fungus does not have chlorophyll that is why they do not need sunlight for existence. The infection of onychomycosis is very common these days. The home remedies for nail fungus can eliminate this microbe quickly. Once the fungus reaches the nail beds they are difficult to deal with. In addition, the nail beds provide a safe hiding place for this fungus to grow. But, home remedies for nail fungus are effective enough to get rid of them from such place where it is difficult to reach them.
This fungus has the ability to live in the places where air is moist, for instance shower stalls or bathrooms. Due to this ability, the dermatophytes are present almost everywhere. Also, anything that may injure the nail makes it easier for the fungus to infect one's nail, for example if a person's nail gets stuck in a door. It is also considered that weak resistance power of the body can not fight a fungal infection. Moreover, stronger immune system can easily eliminate the fungal infection that is why it is important to have strong immune system. But, once a person is infected he must seek for some effective treatment to stop further damage to the nails, and the home remedies for nail fungus not only treats the infection but also it strengthens the immune system. Some of the effective home remedies for nail fungus are mentioned ahead so that infection can be treated completely.
1. Take a bowl full of warm water and add apple cider vinegar in it. Soak the nails in this mixture for 20 minutes. Afterwards, pat dry the nails with soft towel. Also, blow dry to ensure that no moisture is left.
2. Take coarsely ground rice flour and add enough apple cider vinegar to form paste. Now, gently massage your nail and the area around the nail. If the skin is sore then do not massage, just let the paste to dry. The apple cider vinegar prevents the fungus to spread.
3. Take equal amounts of both olive oil and lemon juice. Mix them together and gently massage on the affected nail. The olive oil will soften the skin whereas lemon juice will control the infection.
4. Take equal amounts of lavender oil and tea tree oil, and mix them together. Now put this mixture on a piece of cotton and dab it onto the affected nail. This remedy is very effective as tea tree oil has antibiotic properties whereas lavender oil is a natural antiseptic. Repeat this remedy at least two to three times in a day. This is one of the most effective remedy amongst many other home remedies for nail fungus.
To summarize, the above mentioned home remedies for nail fungus are effective on both, treating the condition and preventing the infection to increase. Also, it is important to wash hands and toes thoroughly with soap and water to prevent the infection. But in case you get infected after all preventions, the home remedies for nail fungus are ready to treat the condition.
