Rheumatism is clinically recognized as rheumatic disorder which affects the joints, and the connective tissues of our body. In addition, the word rheumatism is only used in informal speech, and it is no longer used in medical literature. Moreover, this word is derived from Greek language which simply means swelling. Furthermore, this medical condition debilitates the supporting structure of the body. In addition, the debilitation of supporting structure causes pain. Also, this medical condition is subdivided into two classes for more specific ailments. But, home remedies for rheumatism is capable in treating this painful medical condition efficiently.

The two classes of this disorder are, muscular and articular. Firstly, the muscular rheumatism affects the muscles of the body which is less common among patients of this disorder. Secondly, articular rheumatism affects the joints of the body, and it affects the children and young peoples in acute form but, it affects adults in chronic form. The home remedies for rheumatism is effective in treating both the classes of this medical condition.

There are many causes for occurrence of this medical condition. Firstly, the joints get inflamed when acid wastes of the body enter the blood flow. The home remedies for rheumatism will help the body to get rid of the acid waste efficiently, and prevent it from entering the blood flow. Secondly, a person is likely to suffer from this medical condition when he continues to perform physically stressful work, which may affect a particular joint of the body. Thirdly, damp weather conditions might lead to pain in the joints, or muscles. Fourthly, acidosis which is commonly recognized as acid-alkaline imbalance weakens the supporting structure of the body is another common cause of this medical condition. But, the home remedies for rheumatism will ensure the perfect balance of the acid and alkali.

The most common symptoms of the onset of this medical condition are intense soreness, and sudden fever. In addition, painfully stiffed muscles are also another common symptom of this medical condition. Moreover, the affected part may also become very sensitive, and slightest touch to the affected part may cause excruciating pain. And, the patients of this medical condition often complaint tormenting pain but, the pain may advance to a debilitating state. Fortunately, the home remedies for rheumatism are very effective in relieving the pain within a few minutes. Some remedies are mentioned ahead that may prevent this pain-giving medical condition from disturbing our daily routine.

1. Have 2 teaspoons of potato juice before every meal. It will help to eliminate the acid wastes.

2. Add 1 teaspoon of honey in a cup of bitter gourd juice. Have this mixture regularly.

3. Mix the juice of 3 lemons in a glass of water. Add 2 tablespoons of honey in it. Drink this mixture regularly.

4. Mix 1 tablespoon of cod liver oil to the juice of 1 orange, and drink the mixture before going to bed.

5. Apply a mixture of, camphor, eucalyptus oil and menthol, on the affected area to relieve the pain.

In conclusion, the above mentioned home remedies for rheumatism are indeed effective, but some lifestyle changes may help to treat this medical condition quickly. Moreover, it will be helpful to avoid alcoholic beverages, carbonated beverages, and caffeine based beverages because all these may disturb the balance of acid and alkali. Also, it is advised to avoid too oily and too spicy foods. In addition, avoid the packaged foods and junk foods because they contain high amounts of preservative which may cause acidosis. Finally, the mentioned preventions may help the home remedies for rheumatism to work more effectively.
