Home Remedies For Stomach Ulcers That Give Amazing Results

Ulcers are caused due to certain reasons such as nicotine, faulty diet, alcohol and stress. When these ulcers occur in stomach, then they are known as stomach ulcers. Some of the basic symptoms of ulcers are nausea, vomiting, indigestion and abdominal pain. These ulcers can be found in adults as well as children too. Stomach ulcers are caused when hydrochloric acid (present in the digestive juices of stomach) cause damage to mucosal lining of the stomach.
Home Remedies
There are several home remedies for stomach ulcers which are cost-effective, easy and safe to use. Some of the popular home remedies for ulcers are:
1. One of the best home remedies for stomach ulcers is to have bananas every day. Since bananas are known to bring soothing effect to the stomach.
2. Avoid fatty foods and fast foods which are basically fried.
3. Cabbage is also one of the effective home remedies for stomach ulcers. Cabbage is known to have L-glutamine which is an amino acid. This amino acid helps in repairing cell damage in the stomach lining.
4. Honey is known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. It is very helpful in healing stomach lining. You can either take it before going to bed or whenever you feel uncomfortable.
5. One of the simplest home remedies is to drink lots of water. This will help in flushing out toxins from your body.
6. Avoid Caffeine rich products such as tea, coffee, chocolates and cola drinks.
7. Stop drinking alcohol and quit smoking. Avoid aspirin and spicy foods.
8. Take proper rest and do not let stress happen to you. Practice meditation, deep breathing and listening to soothing music will definitely help you reduce stress level. Eat your meals at regular interval.
9. Exercise on regular basis. It will increase mood-enhancing endorphins in your body and calm you.
10. You can even try consuming vegetable juices such as; beet juice, carrot juice, spinach juice and cucumber juice. These vegetable juices are very helpful in treating ulcers.
11. Drink a glass of goat milk, three times in a day to get relief from stomach ulcers.
12. Take some drumstick leaves and make a paste out of these leaves. Now add some yoghurt to it and consume it every day. They are very effective in treating stomach ulcers.
13. Take some almonds and soak them in water. Once they become soft, blend them in a blender with milk. Drink this mixture on regular basis.
14. Fenugreek seeds are also very helpful in treating stomach ulcers. Make a tea out of fenugreek seeds and drink it. It will give you instant relief from the symptoms of ulcers.
