Home Remedies For Tooth Pain, Effective Natural Treatment

Inflammation of tooth nerve can cause tooth pain. It happens when some foreign material enters tooth pulp which is the center of the tooth. Bad oral hygiene, unhealthy diet and neglect can cause tooth infection which may further result into tooth pain.

Home Remedies

There are several home remedies for tooth pain which are simple to use and easy to follow. Some of the popular home remedies are:

1. One of the simplest and most effective home remedies is to place an icepack on the affected area. This will numb the region and reduce the pain.

2. Peppermint mixed with salt in water is also one of the effective home remedies for tooth pain. All you need to do is take some water and add five grams of peppermint and some salt to it. Boil this mixture and allow it to cool down. Drink this mixture, it will work as a great pain killer and give you relief from the pain.

3. Take some fresh spinach leaves and wash them properly. Now chew these spinach leaves raw. This is an effective way to get relief from tooth pain.

4. In order to get instant relief from this problem, you can try chewing some leaves of guava tree.

5. Try to maintain a proper oral hygiene. Make it a habit of gargling after eating your meals. Brush two times in a day, one in the morning and one at night.

6. Take some margosa bark and six cloves. Now boil them together in water. After boiling this solution allow the mixture to cool down. Once cool fill this mixture in a bottle and put it in a refrigerator. Whenever you feel pain you can apply this mixture on the affected area. It will help in giving you relief from tooth pain.

7. Take iodine and apply its drop on the affected tooth. But always remember not to swallow iodine.

8. Do not eat or drink anything which is too cold or too hot. Otherwise it can harm your teeth and cause tooth pain. Always allow them to come at natural temperature and then consume.

9. We all are familiar with Vicks vapor rub. All you need to do is apply the affected side of your face with some Vicks vapor rub and then put a paper towel on it and rest on your bed. The skin absorbs the heat from Vicks vapor rub and helps in bringing relief from pain.

10. In order to get instant relief from the pain take vanilla extract and put two to three drops of it on affected tooth.

11. Take a cotton ball and soak it in brandy. Now put this cotton ball on the affected tooth. This will give you relief from tooth pain. Or you can even try using whiskey in the place of brandy.

12. Asafoetida and lemon juice when used together can be very helpful in curing pain from tooth. Just heat some asafetida grounded in lemon juice. Now take a cotton ball soaked into this solution and place it on the affected tooth.

These were some of the effective and efficient home remedies for tooth pain which are very easy to use and can be tried at home safely.
