Infection of bladder, kidneys, ureters or urethra is known as urinary tract infection. There are certain factors which can cause UTI such as bacteria in urethra, sexual intercourse, different sexual partner and holding back the urge to urinate. Some of the common symptoms of UTI are fever, vomiting, pain, burning sensation, traces of blood and frequent urge to urinate.

1. One of the simplest remedies for UTI is to drink plenty of water every day. This will keep your body hydrated and will flush out all the toxins from your body.

4. Echinacea is an herb which is very helpful in curing UTI. All you need to do is drink Echinacea tea once in a day after your meal. This is one of the most useful home remedies for urinary tract infection.

5. One of the simplest home remedies for urinary tract infection is to consume nutritious diet. You can have whole grains, fresh fruits, fresh vegetables and cereals on daily basis. Avoid consumption of alcohol and caffeinated drinks.

6. You can try using hot water bottle or warm heating pads on your abdomen to get relief from the pain caused by UTI. This is one of the simplest home remedies for urinary tract infection.

7. Wear loose cotton clothes only as it will allow your skin to breathe. Tight fitting clothes are not considered good for this condition.

8. Take one glass of water and add half teaspoon of baking soda in it. Mix them well and drink. Baking soda will stop the growth of bacteria which are causing urinary tract infection.

9. Never hold back the urge to urinate as it can later lead to urinary tract infection.

10. Boil water with petals of pink rose and lotus. Allow this mixture to cool down and strain. Have one ounce of this mixture thrice daily for better results.

11. Take some coriander seeds and boil them in water. Allow this mixture to cool down and strain. Drink one ounce of this mixture twice daily. This home remedy will increase the flow of urine.
