Vertigo causes dizziness and makes you feel like as if the world is spinning. If you are suffering from spinning sensation then make it a habit to have a salad with shavings of lemon peel. Avoid chocolate, caffeine, iced teas, excess salts and fried foods. Another effective home remedies for vertigo is to grind a mixture of wheat (two teaspoons), poppy seeds (one teaspoon), eight almond seeds and eight pumpkin seeds. Now take some butter and heat it in a pan and add two cloves in it, now you can add the paste and mix it for a minute. You can add this mixture to a glass of milk and drink it daily.
Ginger is one of the most effective home remedies for vertigo. It is best to have a tea with lot of ginger in it in the initial stage of vertigo attack. You should also try to add ginger in your daily diet in order to prevent further attacks. Meditation and breathing exercises can really help those who suffer from vertigo.
To fight dizziness try drinking two to three large glasses of ice-cold water and move slowly, as it will decrease your chances of injury during an attack. Massage diagonal muscle on front of your neck. This will sure give you relief from the symptoms.
In order to calm dizziness one of the best home remedies for vertigo is to focus on any stationary object for some time. This will help the brain to calm the dizziness and achieve balance.
