Hosting a Santa letter Party?

Christmas time is a wonderful season. Santa letters are a part of Christmas for most children. Each year scores of children write Santa letters and send them off in the mail. Writing Santa letters was one of my favorite parts of the Christmas season. And getting Santa letters back in return was even more fun! One great party idea for Christmas time is to write Santa letters! Parties are a super fun part of Christmas and Santa letters are a fun thing to include in a holiday party. The first thing you will want to do is send out invitations to the friends of your children. Make sure you include that the children will be writing Santa letters. To get ready for the Santa letter party you will want to have some holiday treats like sugar cookies hot chocolate and peppermint sticks. Some supplies you may want to have for your Santa letter party include Christmas paper, stickers, stamps, glue and glitter.Have envelopes that the children can decorate for their Santa letters as well. Don't forget to address the Santa letters to the North pole. If the children are pretty young you may want to have a fill in the blank Santa letter for them. These Santa letters can be purchased online. Or make sure to have several other adults on hand to help children write their Santa letters. It also might be fun to have music playing during your Santa letters party. When everyone is finished writing their Santa letters it might be fun to all take a walk to the mailbox to mail the Santa letters. And don't forget some fun holiday games for the children to play when they get done writing their Santa letters. When all the children have gone you can pick up the Santa letters out of the mailbox and give the Santa letters to each child's parent. That way the parents can write Santa letters in response to their children. You could even host an adult Santa letters party a few days after for the parents to write their Santa letters back to their children. You can use some of the same ideas from the children's party. You may want to have more sophisticated food for your party like a hardy soup in bread bowls and pumpkin pie at your Santa letters party. Try to make the invitations for the adult party discrete so the children don't know that their parent will be writing Santa letters. Have different paper and craft items for the parents to write their return Santa letters in. Have envelopes ready for the finished Santa letters. Some cute holiday ribbon tied in a bow around the Santa letters might be fun. Have a few suggestions on how to leave the Santa letters. You can leave your Santa letters in a mailbox. You can leave your Santa letters in their Christmas stocking. You can leave the Santa letters on the child's be or dresser. Santa letters are a fun part of Christmas even if you don't have a party to write Santa letters!
