How Can I Get Over Her and Move On? â Tips to Get Over Your Ex Girlfriend Today
Written by Hugh Benson
The pain of a broken heart is one of the hardest pains to heal. When we break bones, we can put a cast on them and they heal in a few weeks. When we are sick, medication is there to help us get by and to help deal with any pain that we might feel. But what do you do for the pain of a broken heart?
That knot in your stomach and that pit that sits there so deep is driving you crazy. All you want to do is to stop thinking about her once and for all. You just want to stop the pain and all you want is to get over her and move on with your life. You are exhausted both mentally and emotionally and you are just ready for some relief.
So how do you get over her and move on? Is it that easy to just throw your hands up in the air, forget about the relationship and move on? It might seem like an incredibly difficult task but the truth at hand is that yes, you can get over your ex girlfriend and the better news, you can start as soon as today.
In order to move on with your life and to get over your ex girlfriend once and for all, follow these easy steps.
Step One. Cleanse. Are you still hanging onto gifts that she bought for you or keepsakes that meant a lot to you while you two were together? Do you find that you are staring at those all day or that they are at least a part of your every day routine? Does looking at them hurt you but you just can’t seem to muster up the courage to part with them? The harsh reality is that you need to. You need to get rid of these items. This doesn’t mean forever, but at least hide them yourself, or better yet, bring them over to a friend or family’s house and ask them if they can keep them there for you. You just can’t have them in your environment any longer. They are toxic to you.
Step Two. Get it all Out. It’s healthy to cry and even though you may be tired of it, it’s good for you. Men are supposed to be the stronger sex and showing emotions is almost considered blasphemy in some cases. Don’t get caught up in this. Breakups are hard and yes, they hurt. Cry it out. Get it all out and you will absolutely feel better. It is a cathartic experience being able to get all of that emotion out. Let it happen.
Step Three. Get Out There. Of course, the last thing on your mind is hooking up or meeting anyone new. Since when does going out specifically mean meeting someone and hooking up? It shouldn’t and it doesn’t have to. Just getting out there and having fun with your friends and meeting new people will help to put you in a good place and help you to distract yourself from your current situation. Who knows? You might actually end up meeting someone that you really enjoy spending time with.

Dr. Venus Nicolino: You Have To Make Yourself Available To Find Good Relationships
The idea of making yourself more desirable by making yourself less available doesn't make a lot of sense when you think about it. After all, Juliet would have plunged a premature dagger into the heart of her romance with Romeo if she hid in her room rather than go out on her balcony. The end of Sleepless in Seattle shifts from "awww" to "aw, no" if one of the two main characters skips the trip to the Empire State Building. As these examples from fiction show, making yourself
