Now that you and your ex are on your own, and with you trying to get him back; there is one thing you must avoid and that is “quarreling” with him. You both are liable to get into quarrels over the incidents of the past but you must avoid this at all cost; as it would not help you move forward but will only cause a breakdown in communication between you both. As you make this move to get your ex back; when the both of you are talking or involved in a conversation, you must ensure that a fight doesn’t face up (argument) about the incidents in the past as this would eventually lead to you both quarreling. Another way to avoiding quarrels is ensuring that you both talk more about the future, and the positive aspect of your broken relation. Also, you should make sure that your conversations are pleasant, full of harmless stories and enlightenment. It should help you both through the healing process and make you both understand yourselves better. Moreover, you shouldn’t accuse him or bring to his remembrance any ill or wrong doing he must have done. Remember, your aim is to get him back and not chasing him away. Quarreling would always cause a bridge between you two, and it would cause more harm than good. Therefore, you should take it as a responsibility to avoid these quarrels. Also make a total effort at getting him closer to you than before as this would help in strengthening the bond between you two. Well, you are the one trying to get him back so you have to put in all your effort to succeed. Another important aspect in knowing how to get him back is: be attentive when he speaks. Every guy loves a lady he can talk to, and a lady who can listen to him well. Now, he is alone, and you desperately want him back; you have to try to listen very carefully to him whenever he talks as this would get him to trust you, and it would also make him special and loved knowing that he has someone who likes to always be there with a listening ear. You should also be attentive to his use of words in-order to enable you read in-between is words; to know is present state of mind. Your ex might want to get to you and he might not say this directly but indirectly, and you alone, been attentive to his words, would be able to know what move to take next. Also when you show him your attention, he would not have a choice but to be totally drawn to you. Been attentive would help you in knowing when he is actually interested in also getting back to you. When your ex starts asking questions about your well being, your whereabouts, your friends, your private, your family e.t.c. you must be attentive to all these details as it would give you the edge, and take a step further into getting him back. The words that proceed from your ex matters because these words will either make your plans work through or make them fail. Been attentive, will also help you in been a better friend to him. Everybody likes to have a listening ear. Thus, he should know that he can rely on you. In all cases, when you give him an attentive ear, you earn his trust, respect and even his love; thereby making your wish of getting him back come true. Note that, you must choose your words carefully in giving him a reply to some of his questions or in contributing to his conversations.
