Some private and government universities even conduct their own entrance exam followed by an interview round in some cases. Some of them provide direct admissions based on aggregate scores in graduation. The last step of the admission process involves counselling based on performance in the entrance test or whichever test the student has taken.

After M.Tech, if an individual wishes to study further, they can even choose to pursue an MBA and then move towards a techno-managerial role. Some other suggestive job roles for an M.Tech student could be to become a project associate.
