What the Procedures Involves
Small incisions are made in the area from where the fat has to be removed. A small cannula (tube) is then inserted through the incisions into the skin. The cannula is approximately 1.0 mm in diameter, and carries a laser fiber. The surgeon moves the cannula back and forth to evenly remove the excess fat.
