How the installation of a roof ventilator helps an industry
Industrial areas, factory premises and residences have a high need for fresh air that needs to be constantly circulated. Even though most persons feel that they should naturally be entitled to fresh air in enclosed areas, this is not always the case, unless appropriate ventilators are fitted. Once a wind-driven turbo ventilator is installed, the stale air from inside can be replaced with fresh air from outside.Different types of gases with fumes and odors are produced within factories, some of which could even be poisonous. Continuous circulation of such gases could lead to several health hazards. Turbo ventilators have attached turbines that operate even due to the slightest wind, to rotate ventilator fans and cause circulation of fresh air.
Ventilators operate using wind energy, which is a renewable energy source and does not harm the environment. Electric power is not required, unlike conventional exhaust fans. These devices also require minimum maintenance, making them cost-effective long term solutions. During operation, noise is not produced at all. The installation of roof and wind ventilators ensures that day light is able to enter the working premises.A roof ventilator is built with light weight material, which is also strong at the same time. It works on the principle of convection currents, wherein hot air from below rises, creating a low pressure area and allowing air from outside to enter. Healthy air circulation from one end of the building to the other can easily be maintained by installing numerous ventilators.
Roof ventilators are designed using advanced technology that allows these to be easily installed on any type of roofing. Superior power, economical usage and aesthetic looks make these devices extremely popular among clients. However, the number of required ventilators depends upon the size of the building, specific dimensions of the building and other factors. These can be made of anodized aluminum, high grade aluminum or stainless steel, with epoxy coating for corrosive areas.
The turbo ventilator has metal fins that rotate even due to the slightest wind. Stored wind energy in the rotor cage of the device also helps in constant rotation. For the metal to last, it is necessary that the ventilator is manufactured by qualified and experienced engineers. Industry standards of quality should be followed by these vendors.
During winter and rainy seasons, the roof ventilator helps prevent the formation of mildew due to presence of moisture in the environment, so that the working area remains hygienic. Therefore it can be stated that the installation of ventilators helps in raising employee productivity standards and in boosting their morale.
