How To Clean Custom Whiteboards

If you have a custom whiteboard for your school or office, you may have found that it is frequently in need of cleaning due to ink build up and other dirty markings. But custom whiteboards can be more difficult to clean than generic whiteboards thanks to the vinyl or laser-etched patterns that have been added to the surface.

Never spray these cleaners directly onto the board – put them onto a soft cloth and then use it to wipe down the surface.

Whenever you are writing on your custom whiteboard, remember that you should allow the ink to dry before wiping it off. Wiping wet ink can cause smears and stains on the board that are difficult to remove. If you have made a mistake, move onto something else while the ink dries and come back to fix it up later.

You should also keep in mind that you should never write on a wet or damp custom whiteboard. Either wipe it down with an old towel or wait until it has air-dried. This is because the damp surface can cause the ink to smear, which is not only hard to read but is also very hard to remove.
