How to End No Contact with Your Ex
Written by Clay Andrews
So, you’ve been giving the No Contact Rule a try. I really want to congratulate you. It’s no small feat to embrace the common fears and apprehensions about the No Contact Rule.
As you’ve probably discovered, fighting off those urges to talk to your ex can be one of the most difficult things you’ve ever done.
But I’d wager you’re probably feeling a lot better about your outlook on life. Maybe you’re even starting to realize that you don’t need your ex to be happy.
However, if you still want to get back together and save your relationship, what can you do? How do you break No Contact and reconnect with your ex?
No Contact is usually broken one of two ways. Either your ex starts to miss you and reaches out to call you, or you reach out and call them.
If they reach out to you, which is very common, all you have to do is answer the phone or get back to them at your earliest convenience. Simple, right?
If it looks like it’s on you to break No Contact, all you need to do is call them up and tell them that it’s been awhile since the two of you have talked. You don’t need to formulate any sort of excuses. Just tell them that you were wondering how they’ve been doing.
If you and your ex ended things on bad terms, you might want to apologize for anything you did wrong, but don’t make a big deal out of it. Just give them a simple and honest apology and then move on.
Your ex might not be ready to talk to you yet. That’s okay too. You’re really just calling to check in and see how they’re doing. If they’re not ready to talk to you, then you got your answer and you can continue doing No Contact or even move on.
However, most times, you’ll find that your ex really wants to catch up. They miss you. After all, you two were in a relationship and it’s hard to completely cut off contact with someone. More than likely they’ll be happy to talk to you and tell you what they’ve been up to.
You want to keep these sort of conversation fairly short. If you want to save your relationship, you should move to seeing them in person. Nothing beats a personal connection when it comes to sparking attraction and conveying all the emotions you two are feeling.

Dr. Venus Nicolino: You Have To Make Yourself Available To Find Good Relationships
The idea of making yourself more desirable by making yourself less available doesn't make a lot of sense when you think about it. After all, Juliet would have plunged a premature dagger into the heart of her romance with Romeo if she hid in her room rather than go out on her balcony. The end of Sleepless in Seattle shifts from "awww" to "aw, no" if one of the two main characters skips the trip to the Empire State Building. As these examples from fiction show, making yourself
