Every year, it seems a growing number of adult males from the Western world are
dating Asian women. So why has dating Asian women become so common, and why is it such a popular lifestyle choice for Western men? Here are a few reasons, based upon my own personal experience with asian singles. I explain this in more detail on my Dating Asian Women blog, but for now, let me share a few points:
- Asian women are spiritually grounded.
You'll find that most
hot Asian women practice a religion, and it is a serious part of their lives. Whether she worships God, Buddha or whomever, religion tends to give Asian women a sense of calmness and inner peace that many Western women lack. Asian women don’t need to do constant “soul searching” and fret about what is lacking in their lives. For the Asian woman, a loving partner, a happy, healthy household, and the love of her family and God is enough.
- A hardworking nature is a normal quality of hot Asian women.
Asian women typically start helping out their families from a very young age, waking up early to help out with house-hold chores. In Western countries, where the children tend to be spoiled (or ignored), this is not the case. Also, they believe in working hard in order to provide a better future for their families.
You see this is in the Western world, among all types of immigrant communities; they'll rise at dawn every day and work hard, and build businesses, in order to help their families back home and help them to emigrate. These people respect the value of hard work-and a woman from this type of background is not going to turn into a spoiled “princess” once you marry her.
- It is customary for Asian girls to take a lot of pride in how they look.
Asian women always want to look good for their man, even if they're just stepping out to go grocery shopping. Going to the salon is a ritual. They feel it’s important to “stay sexy” for their man. Western women, on the other hand, often gain weight and stop caring about their appearance once they get married and know they have their guy "locked in." They start packing on the pounds, and would rather wear sweat pants and baggy shirts than the short skirts and tight-fitting jeans that sexy Asian women prefer.
I've found that the reason Western women mock Asian-Westerner relationships is that they are JEALOUS. They don't like the idea of slim, beautiful Asian women (with perfect skin) "stealing" all their men away!
- Another reason for dating Asian women: they can truly love an older man, and appreciate what he brings to the table.
This is a huge (and valid) reason why so many American guys are dating Asian women. In the Western world, once a guy turns 40 (or even 35!) he begins to feel that he can only date women his own age, and that younger women won't be interested in him. I’m not just talking about guys who have reached retirement age. I've known guys in their late 20s who are desperate to find a girl to settle down with, because they feel they're "getting old" and their options are decreasing. (Which seems insane to me, because I've been living in Asia for years and it's NORMAL for much older men to date young, hot Asian women!)
Throughout Asia, it's common for men to date women who are 10, 15 or 20 years younger than they are. (If you're in your 40s, a lot of beautiful young ladies in Asia will consider you to be young!) In fact, if you’re under the age of 40, some Asian women will rule you out because they feel you’re not yet mature and responsible enough for a serious relationship!
When you’re in Asia, it’s common to see men dating women who are 20 years younger than they are (or even more). The age difference isn’t even an issue. It can be a little bit weird at first, to see so many Western guys in their 40s and 50s walking around with incredibly hot younger women -- but the age difference really isn't an issue. I've seen many of these relationships work out better than you can imagine.
But I do need to add, these relationships with huge age gaps tend to run into problems when the Western guy moves the Asian girl to his own country. In Asia, the Western guy is considered to be desirable and "exotic"; once he brings his Asian girlfriend or wife back to his country, he is now competing against a million other Western guys who want to snatch her away. For older guys who are in Asia and dating hot younger Asian women, these relationships work best if they remain in Asia. These relationships can, however, stay intact after the move to a Western country, as long as the Asian woman truly loves her man and isn't only interested in his money (or getting citizenship).
The bottom line is that in Asian culture, older men are viewed with respect. They are seen as being responsible, mature and more stable than younger men. Elders are respected in their culture (as it should be).
