There are some fantastic B&B’s out there - and some that even cater to the guy (that’s important!). Talk to a friend about using their ranch house or time-share. You might even be able to stay there for free! • Plan a Long Weekend Get-Away. Take advantage of those long 3 and 4 day weekends - July 4th, Labor Day, Memorial Day, etc. Instead of just hanging out amongst the same old surroundings, use the time to get away and start back on the path to save your relationship. 3 or 4 days away together, just you and him, can mean a relationship that will last a lifetime. Isn’t that worth 3 or 4 days to get away here and there? • Plan an Overnight Get-Away. Sometimes, just getting away from all the familiar surroundings will do a world of good for your relationship. And this is a cheap option. • Plan What You’re Going to Do. Even the best, most exotic places can wear a little thin after a day or so. Make plans to do things together. Be sure and get his input before you plan - DO NOT plan all the activities and then just expect him to tag along and be happy about it. This is about the two of you, what the two of you want to do, need to do - together. That means you may have to suffer along through some things with him.
