Hey buddy, do you want to know how to get your girl back after a break up? I understand your pain. I’ve been there myself and I know only too well the emotional anguish that you’re going through. Sometimes you just feeling like staying in bed all day long, and it can be hard to pull yourself together to go to work. Then on the way to work you just end up passing by all these places that remind you of your ex-girlfriend.

It’s tough, especially when she won’t even pick up the phone or answer an e-mail just to talk or let you explain what happened.

Here are a few steps you can take to get her back.

First, just fall off the radar. This may be tough to wrap you’re mind around, but for the time being, you want to stop contacting her and just seemingly “disappear” for about a month or so. There’s a lot of deep psychology behind this, but just know that it will help her to start missing you and it will give you time to work on yourself.

Second, you want to reinvent yourself. For whatever reason, your girlfriend left you because something about sticking around with you didn’t appeal to her. If you want to get her back, you’re going to have to become a new man.

You don’t just want to look like you’ve become a new man without making any real changes, though. If you do this, she’ll feel like you tricked her and she’ll leave you again. This time, for good.

So make these changes real. Do you need to improve your appearance? Become a better communicator? Do you need to take more time to just have fun? Maybe even all of the above!

During your one month of no contact with your ex-girlfriend, start working on these things and take your life in a positive direction.

Third, reinitiate contact with her. After one month and after you put in some work on yourself to improve yourself, you can reestablish contact with her. Don’t make this out into a big deal. Just call her up and tell her you’d like to catch up over a cup of coffee.

When you meet with her, keep the conversation light and fun without talking about anything serious or depressing like your break up. The point is to remind her of all the good things about yourself and also to show you how you’ve changed over the past month.

Fourth, start dating again. For here, you want to move slowly. Your previous relationship with her ended, so move slowly and date her as if she was a woman you’ve met for the first time.

After a few dates, if things seem to be going well, consider bringing up the subject of starting a new relationship with her.

Fifth, keep the changes. Now a lot of people will get their ex-girlfriend back only fall back into their old habits that led up to the break up in the first place. If you want to keep her and not go through all this pain again, you’re going to have to stick with your changes and continue to work on becoming the very best person you can be.
