Paper 1: According to NTA, in Paper 1 there will be a sum total of 50 questions asked holds the weight age of 2 marks each. Participants have to attend all the questions in order to go for final selection round. The overall duration of the Paper 1 exam will be available for the complete 1 hour. • There will be no negative marking scheme in the complete set of examination.

• The UGC NET 2019 will be conducted into two different shifts i.e. morning and evening. For Paper 1 the morning timings will be from 9:30am to 10:30am and evening timings will be from 2:30pm to 3:30pm. While for Paper 2 the morning timings will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm and evening timings will be from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
• The question paper of UGC NET will be attempted either in Hindi or English.
