But what to do you say to someone you’re interested in? Here is how to start a text conversation with a girl you like: Tip #1. Get her number. Ask her to be friends on Facebook. Follow her on twitter. This is the obvious first step. Don’t ask someone else for her number. She may find this creepy or not recognize the number and ignore you. Asking for her number shows her you are interested in her and not afraid to admit it. Being friends on Facebook makes it easy to see what is going on in her life. You can easily find things to talk about once you’ve become Facebook buddies. All her likes and dislikes, the things she finds funny, and everything she’s looking forward to is outlined right there. Pick a topic and bring it up in conversation. Twitter is not the best option, but you can use it to know what she is up to. Tip #2. Don’t expect her to talk to you first. If you asked for her number, she does not have yours. If you friended her on Facebook, she does not know if you’re the kind of guy who uses Facebook chat.
