Basically, you're focusing on what you don't wish to happen whenever you're feeling terrible. Focus on what you want if you're having a complicated time moving on with life after a breakup.

Concentrating on what you want may be hard at first. An attitude of gratitude will help you change the mindset you're in right now.

Write down everything that you are grateful to have in your life today after reading this article. Are you appreciative you have a job to help you make ends met? Are you thankful you have family and friends that love you and wanna help you?

You might be thinking too hard or not hard enough if your mind is going blank. It could be as easy as having a warm summer day to unwind in, or maybe since you're ex and you are over, you have a bit more freedom to do things as you please.

After writing the list, don't you feel a little better? If not, seriously go back and add more things. Undergoing a breakup can really injure a person's self-esteem and confidence. To help you overcome depression after a break up, learn how to enjoy life even without your ex.

Remember, in order to attract the good things in life, you must attract it. The only way you can attract goodness is if you are attractive yourself. Your mindset will play an important role on helping you attract love and happiness.
