You don't have to be surprised if she rejects you right off the bat.
How to Talk to a Girl Tip #2: Don't Apologize Because You Approached Her
I understand that you need to make a good impression and being polite is one of them. But this is also a proof of your lack of confidence. Let's take high status men as an example because they don't say sorry for simply talking to a hot girl. These people know their worth. So other girls will look up to you, you don't surrender your authority but you don't force it on them either. It's just a matter of looking at yourself in a different light. Believe that you're fun, interesting and cool so just go ahead and laugh right into it.
How to Talk to a Girl Tip #3: What are Conversation Openers?
Avoid asking close-ended questions. If you don't know what they are, they are questions that can only be answered by a yes or a no. It's not a very effective tool if you want to talk to a girl since it doesn't allow a smoothly flowing conversation. Some close-ended questions can be modified to become open-ended questions.
The Neutral Openers. These are the opposite of close-ended questions. With neutral openers, you're supposed to tell her the reason why you're striking up a conversation with her instead of apologizing. This does not only erase the need for apologies but you also indirectly compel her to talk to you. This also erases the doubt that you only want to get her laid. Here is an excellent example:
"Hey, you'd probably know the answer to this—let me ask you because my friend Jen is coming to town next week and she's in charge of her best friend's bachelorette party. She needs to know a really fun place for them to have a girl's night out. If you were in charge of the party, where would you bring everyone?"
