People that get frequent yeast infections may have a larger problem going on in their systems. They actually could have an overgrowth of Candida albicans cells in their bodies.

These yeast cells are a natural part of our environment, but our bodies have mechanisms to keep them from growing out of control. Unfortunately, our modern lifestyles can cause Candida to become overgrown throughout our bodies.

Causes of Candida Overgrowth
There are several reasons Candida yeast cells could be growing out of control in people’s bodies.

1.Antibiotics- If people are frequent user of antibiotics then they can cause yeast to grow out of control. They kill helpful bacteria as well as bad bacteria. These helpful bacteria keep Candida from growing.
2.Weakened Immune Systems- people with weakened immune systems because of poor diet or medication also are more prone to have Candida overgrowth.
3.Poor Diet- Diets rich in sugar and refined carbs feed yeast cells. Think of how bread is made; yeast + sugar+ flour = bread. The soft texture is caused by the yeast rapidly growing and releasing gases. This same thing can happen within people’s bodies.

Signs to Look Out For
If you get frequent yeast infections then that is your number one clue that you may have Candida overgrowth. Once or twice a year shouldn’t cause alarm, but any more than that should raise some questions.

Feeling tired all the time is also another sign. Yeast metabolizing in your body release a type of alcohol that stresses the body and makes a person feel fatigued. Also if you crave sugar all the time this can be a sign. There are many other symptoms but these are the three major ones.

Your frequent yeast infections could be a sign of a bigger problem and mean the overgrowth of Candida albicans in your body. Many people have found healing by following a Candida diet and by taking yeast-inhibiting herbs. Relief is possible.
