This post will talk about electric razors including information such as - how to use an electric razor, the types of razors you can buy and the best technique to use for electric shavers.
Electric razors are a very attractive gadget for guys to have. Electric razors are a very attractive gadget for guys to have. Electric shavers are far more efficient - all you have to do is switch the shaver on and start shaving, there is no need for water or gel. Easy. They are a very appealing gadget that all men should have and shows that a man likes to invest in his appearance. I also found them to last longer than a manual razor as the blades are more protected - this also means there is a very small chance for any shaving cuts to happen, great for sensitive skin..
There are two types of electric razors: Rotary and foil.
Rotary shavers have three heads with blades that rotate in a circular motion, while foil shavers have a few strips of blades that vibrate.
It's up to personal preference which one you prefer, some people find rotary shavers better if you want longer inbetween shaves and find them easier, while foil shavers are said to cut a bit closer than rotary.
With all electric shavers you can shave dry, meaning that no water or gel is needed - this also means less time shaving and greater convenience
When you are using a rotary shaver you should use it in circular motions around the face in combination with moving the shaver in a straight line. Aim to try and shave against the grain of the hair. You can also use your free hand to stretch or hold the skin tight as it is being shaved - this enables flat lying hairs stand up from the skin and be more easily cut, it also allows the shaver to cut closer the the hair follicle.
If you have had your shaver for a long period of time, then you may need to change the blades in the razor as they may have become blunt - this should cause you to have a closer shave. Also if you blades become dirty then you shave will be less optimal - ensure you thoroughly clean the blades of all grime, dirt and hair.
