How happy are you with your life? Are you tired, wish you had a better job, relationship, more energy, a fitter body or improved relationships with friends and family? Do you want to feel more relaxed, happy and successful?
Do you spend your days complaining to anyone who is willing to listen how fed up you are and how much you wish things were different? Do you get down and upset that your life is the way it is and you wish things were different in some way?
Many people state that they want their lives to change, but are unwilling to do anything about it. I often hear people state ‘ I want to change’ but the truth of the matter really is, that they don’t want to come out of their comfort zone and do anything about it. We often make excuses that we don’t know how, haven’t got the time or it’s just not the right time for us. Well, there is normally a never perfect time to start taking action to change your life! If you do not have the time NOW, then when will you? This is just procrastination. The best time to start taking action to change your life is NOW. Why wait? There will never be that ‘ perfect time’.
Often we need to make some small sacrifices to make changes. If you think you haven’t got time to start that course, go to the gym or do some meditation, then MAKE TIME. Sacrifice that extra 30 mins in bed or make a commitment to yourself to leave work on time so that you can go to the gym.
Do you want to meet your soul mate? If so, what are you doing about it? What action are you taking? Are you sitting around complaining to your friends that ‘ there are no good men / women out there’ or are you taking action to meet that person you desire? Are you going out, connecting with people or joining a club where you can meet new people?
Do you want to find a new job? If so, what action are you taking? Are you just complaining that you don’t have the necessary experience to do the job you really desire or moaning that there are no jobs available? Take some action and move forward – update you CV, find out what experience you do need, get yourself the relevant qualifications and do some networking! Don’t expect things to just happen if you are not willing to take some action!
If you don’t have a clue where to begin to take action – then find out! Get a coach, ask other people and gain the knowledge, skills and self development as you grow. Take action NOW to change your life. Don’t scare yourself with a list of HUGE HAIRY CHANGES you need to make. Take one step at a time and build on things.
Do you know that just taking one simple focused step on a regular basis can help you change your life?
Here are a few reasons why it is important to take ACTION:
1) Nobody is coming to save you! Your life is YOUR responsibility
2) Just reading books/ gaining knowledge on things is not enough sometimes, you need to integrate what you have learned and DO IT! You wouldn’t just read a book on the gym and expect to get a fit healthy body would you?. We learn by doing things!
3) Taking action will increase your self esteem and eliminate some of those old fears you may have been carrying around for years. You will feel so much better about yourself when you take some action
4) Sitting around moaning about things won’t change anything!
5) Your life is not endless. Your time is one the most important things in your life. Don’t waste a huge chunk of it. Start taking action towards what you really want out of life today

Sell yourself the benefits of your change. How will it feel? Look? Imagine how better you will feel about yourself! Surely taking an action has got to be better than sitting around moaning about things? Encourage yourself to do something today that will move you one step closer to that wonderful future you desire.
You have no idea where that one simple action step will take you.. So go ahead and do it!
