I was not personally involved in this story. A good friend told me one night, and I hope I can do a good job to tell her here, as my friend told me.

Note that this experience did not occur during a formal hypnotherapy session; It is more an example of the use of "conversational hypnosis" and it is not that my friend has already created a relationship with the "client" through previous works they had done. Also note pattern breaks, status changes, tempo and progress.

My friend Clint had someone with whom he had done some work that I would call Bill, and from the work they had done together, a friendship flourished.

One day Bill called Clint. He was very enthusiastic about a new position he had been offered within his company. He explained that the new offer in many ways was a backward recognition for his hard work, superior skills and dedication. It would mean significantly more money, more responsibility and the ability to travel. All these changes were things Bill wanted and had worked very hard to achieve.

When Clint asked him when to start, Bill replied that he would not accept the job. Of course, Clint asked why not. After a little hemming and croaking it finally came to the fact that taking the new position would require Bill to cut his hair and not cut it. Clint said he thought he was fine. After all, it was Bill's career, he could take that job or not.

But Clint also admitted to being a bit confused by Bill's answer and commenting that while he couldn't help noticing that the law liked wearing long hair, he had never heard Bill talk about his hair with the same level of excitement and enthusiasm. . I had just used it when I talked about this new job, and he admitted Bill that he was a little confused about it.

Bill told him to be in Los Angeles the next week and asked if Clint could take some time to see him. Of course, Clint told him to call when he entered.

When they came together, the discussion was finally changed to the conversation they had the week before. Clint asked Bill for a little more information because he was still confused. After a few more booklets and shouts, Bill finally told him that he had to keep his hair far to cover his deformed ears. He said he had a lot of very big ears and that he had always worn long hair to cover them. They were embarrassing.

After a while Clint asked Bill if he would let him see one of his ears and Bill finally agreed. Bill lifted his hair and Clint shouted immediately: "My God!" When Bill appeared with an expression of astonishment on his face, Clint ended his sentence: "My God, your ears are like mine!" Of course, Bill had invested heavily in his faith and was reluctant to just accept that his ears were not so grotesque. The two ended up in front of the mirror with a tape measure, and Bill finally had to admit that his ears didn't look much different to Clint's, and that Clint's ears seemed perfectly normal.

Conversationally, Clint Bill told some of the things that happened in his life about the time he decided to grow his hair to cover his ears. This is what they discovered.

When Bill was about nine years old, he used to go home from school every day where his mother always met him, who immediately took him up in a hug and covered him with kisses. After the kiss, Bill and his mother went to the kitchen to find milk and cakes where Bill enjoyed his full attention while telling him about his day at school. As you can imagine, this was the highlight of the young man's day.
