Use Case, in software engineering is a description of steps or transactions between a user (or "actor") and a software system that takes the user to something meaningful. The user can a person or actor or something more abstract, like an external software system or manual process. Its a software modeling technique that helps developers to determine which features to install and how to fix errors gracefully. Within systems engineering, they are to be used at a higher level than described in Books , often they represent missions or interested goals. The detailed requirements can then be captured in System requirement diagrams or similar mechanisms. The specific way to use this is in the process of development which depends on which development methodology to be used. In some developing methodologiesa brief Use case is required, where as in other methodologies development, they develop in complexity and change in character as the development proceeds. rnThey are a valuable source of information about using and use the testing of ideas. Some methodologies, they can start to use as short business cases, developed into more detailed system cases, and finally developed into highly detailed and complete test cases. "Each of them describes how to focus on a task or goal to reach for most software projects, this means that several, perhaps dozens of use cases are needed to the scope of the new system. The definition of a certain degree of formality software project and the phase of the project, the level of detail that requires in any case affect use. This should not be confused with the properties of the system. One or more features describes the functions needed or requested any interested user requirements. Decompose each function can be used in one or more cases, some detail where an actor using the system. Each use case must be traced to the origin function, which in turn must be traced to the origin user request. Use cases treat the system as a black box, and the interaction with the system, including system responses, was considered outside the system. It is a deliberate policy, because it forces the artist to concentrate on what the system should do, not how to do it, and avoid assumptions about how the function will be fulfilled. rnA case should use: * Describe what the system will do for the actor a certain goal. * Do not implementation-specific language. * Be at the right level of detail. * Do not include details on user interfaces and screens. rnThis is done in the user-interface design, which refers to the use of the case and business rules. Use cases mostly text documents and use case modeling is primarily an act of writing text and draw diagrams not. Use case diagrams use case in secondary works.
