Procter & Gamble has some basic steps in the IVF process, all of which take place during one menstrual period. Initially, females are given fertility drugs to stimulate the ovaries so that multiple eggs can develop and mature. Eggs are removed from the ovaries by sending a needle through the vaginal wall under ultrasound guidance to create fluid from the follicles and to expel the egg. This step is performed in an outpatient surgical setting under anesthesia. The obtained eggs are then placed in a laboratory dish for fertilization and embryo formation. Typically, one or two fetuses obtained using a small catheter are transferred to the uterus under ultrasound guidance. The remaining embryos will be stored or cryopreserved for future use. The patient's blood hormone levels will be monitored after about 10-14 days to check for pregnancy.

In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a complex series of procedures used to prevent fertility or genetic problems and to help conceive a child.

During IVF, mature eggs are collected (recovered) from the ovaries and fertilized by sperm in the laboratory. The fertilized egg (embryo) or egg (uterus) is then transferred to the uterus. A full cycle of IVF takes about three weeks. Sometimes these steps are divided into different parts and the process can take a long time.
The most effective form of assisted reproductive technology is IVF. The procedure can be done using your own eggs and your spouse's sperm. Or IVF may contain eggs, sperm, or embryos from a known or unknown blood donor. In some cases, a gynecological carrier - a woman implanting a uterus in the womb - can be used.

Why it's done
In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a treatment for infertility or genetic problems. If IVF has been used to treat infertility, you and your partner may be able to use a less invasive treatment option before attempting IVF with fertility drugs to increase egg or intrauterine injection - a procedure in which sperm are placed directly into your uterus. Ovulation time
Occasionally, IVF is offered as a primary treatment for infertility in women over 40 years of age. IVF can also be done if you have certain health conditions. For example, IVF may be an option if you or your spouse have:
Fallopian tube damage or blockage Damage or obstruction of the fallopian tube can lead to egg fertilization or difficulty in the uterine movement of the uterus.

Ovulation disorders. If ovulation is less frequent or absent, fewer eggs are available for fertilization.

Endometriosis. Endometriosis occurs when uterine tissue is implanted and grows outside the uterus - often affecting the function of the ovaries, uterus, and fallopian tubes.

Uterine fibroids. fibroids are benign tumors in the uterine wall and are common in women in their 30s and 40s. Fibroids can interfere with the implantation of a fertilized egg.

Previous tubal sterilization or removal. If you have tubal ligation - a type of sterilization in which your fallopian tubes are regularly cut or blocked to prevent pregnancy - and if you want to conceive, IVF tubal ligation reversal may be an option.

Weak sperm production or function Low-average concentration of sperm, poor sperm motility (poor motility) or sperm size and shape abnormalities make it difficult for sperm to fertilize eggs. If semen abnormalities are found, your partner may need to see a specialist to determine if they have the right problem or basic health concerns.

Unexplained infertility Untouchable infertility means that no cause of infertility has been found even after evaluation for common causes.

A genetic disorder-If you or your spouse is at risk for a genetic disorder in your child, you may be a candidate for a preimplantation genetic test - which includes IVF. After egg harvesting and fertilization, some genetic problems are discovered, although not all genetic problems can be found. Fetuses that do not have identified problems can be transferred to the uterus.

IVF is never the first step in the treatment of infertility except for the entire tubal obstruction. Instead, the reserve is reserved in cases where other methods such as resuscitation drugs, surgery, and artificial insemination have not worked.
