Infor Sees the Most Growth of Top 5 Supply Chain Management Vendors

Forbes recently released an article outlining the growth of the supply chain management market from 2016 to 2017. Here are some key takeaways:

The worldwide Supply Chain Management (SCM) market grew 13.9% in 2017 reaching $12.2B.
Supply chain planning accounted for the highest share of revenues, 36.4%, and grew 12.7% in 2017.
Supply chain execution accounted for 31.6% of the market and grew 12.8% in 2017.

When it comes to the top five supply chain management vendors, Infor saw the largest growth from 2016 to 2017. As the article states, “Infor outperformed the market’s growth according to Gartner’s Balaji Abbabatulla, Research Director. Infor historically dominates the supply chain execution sector of the SCM market and is seeing strong demand for their procurement solutions. Infor generated $2.9B in total revenues in FY 2017, and it’s estimated their total SCM business generates between $275M to $300M annually.”
