The most common adults, specially females are suffering from is acne. Acne is very common disease that any one can be affected by this disease. It is a disease that causes pimples on your skin and leave scares forever and that may reduce your beauty a ton. The most common area that form pimples are face, back, shoulders and cheat. Anyone can get acne, but this problem is more common in teenagers and young adults. To get rid of acne, its important for you take treatment on time as it is not serious but it can cause scars.
Teenagers and young adults are mostly suffering from acne. It is very common and serious problem as it can cause scares. No one knows the exact reason that causes acne. But hormone changes like during the teenage years and pregnancy, probably play a role in causing acne. There are many myth regarding acne. People are of the view that Chocolate and greasy foods are also responsible for causing acne but its not true as there is very little evidence that foods have much effect on acne in most people. Another myth related to acne is dirty skin is also responsible for causing this problem and also blackheads and pimples are not caused by dirt.
For the treatment of acne there are various medicines that are available in the market. Azelex is one of the medicine approved by Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of acne. Azelex is a prescription medicine used for the treatment of acne. Azelex is consideted to be one of the best, most trusted and recommended medicine by the doctor. The main ingredient of this medicine is Azelaic acid.
Azelex is a saturated dicarboxylic acid found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley. It is a natural substance that is produced by Malassezia furfur (also known as Pityrosporum ovale), a yeast that lives on normal skin. It is effective against a number of skin conditions, such as mild to moderate acne. Azelex may also be used as a hair growth stimulant. It works in part by stopping the growth of skin bacteria that cause acne, and by keeping skin pores clear.
As it is a prescription medicine so few precaution need to be taken to avoid any side effect. Precautions needs to be taken are as follows.
1) Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to Azelex medicine or to its ingredient.

3) Pregnant and breastfeeding mother should not use this medicine without doctor recommendation as use of this m,medicine may harm the health of unbo

4) Eye contact with the medicine should be avoided while applying this medicine.
5) Azelex medicine should be used cautiously in elderly patients.
Azelex medicine is available in form of tube and should be used as prescribed by the doctor. The infected area should be washed properly, clean and dry before applying Azelex medicine in the acne. Then Azelex cream should be applied using the finger tips just enough so as to cover the affected area. It should be applied once or twice a day preferably in the evenings. Keep all medicines away from the reach of the children and pet.
