No, it’s not…
Lord Krishna has himself said, “It is tough to find the path of liberation (Moksha), but if one were to meet a Gnani Purush, then it becomes even easier than making khichdee (a dish that is easy to prepare).”
Moksha is in your hand if you meet a Gnani!
The Ones who are instrumental in the salvation of the world are ‘Gnani’ (the enlightened people). Gnani means One who can show us how to achieve Moksha. Gnanis are embodiments of knowledge. They show us the path they followed and then it is up to us to follow the path and attain moksha.
The twenty-four Tirthankars have said that you need a Nimmit (someone instrumental in a process) to attain knowledge of the Self (Atmagnan, Self-Realization). A Gnani has experienced the Soul, and also, he has with Him the spiritual powers to enlighten others’ Souls too.
Gnani, with His divine power, destroys our deluding demerit karma (paap) of endless past lives and gives us the right vision that gets permanently established in us. With this vision (the Divya-Chakshu), we come into the awareness of the Self (the pure Soul), and also, we start seeing this pure Soul in everyone (Atmavat sarva bhuteshu)!
Gnan (the knowledge of the Self) will give liberation (Moksha)…
~ Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan
This Gnan is with the Gnani, without whom one can never attain liberation
The knowledge that Lord Krishna gave to Arjun verily is what the Gnani Purush of the Akram Vignan path gives us here, today.
He gives us the awareness of the Self! Thus, we directly come into swa-dharma (religion of the real Self – the Soul), as expounded by Yogeshwar Lord Krishna in the Bhagwad Gita, while the body fulfills the duties (the relative dharma) in the materialistic world.
Once we understand that element, ‘who am I?’, we realize the Soul is an eternal element and it is our self. Once we realize that eternal element Soul, then all our worldly problems and puzzles can be solved. This is spiritual science. Whatever problems we are suffering, it is due to some ignorance. Once we know that in reality, ‘who am I and who is the doer’, then automatically whatever suffering comes due to ignorance can be dissolved. So this is the spiritual science!
Lord Krishna, Lord Mahavir, and Lord Ram, all reached this stage of spiritual science. They are all spiritual scientists. And the worldly science is a different thing. It is materialistic whereas this is the spiritual science as it is based on ‘the eternal element’. The spiritual scientists have realized the eternal element, they have experienced the eternal element and they have given their disciples the knowledge about the eternal element. The knowledge of the eternal element is called spiritual science.
On the path called ‘Akram Vignan’ i.e. the Akram Science of Self-realization, leaving the old religion and adopting the new religion is not required. Whatever we believe in, leave it as it is. We don’t want to change that but we have to realize who are, and what is correctness in this world. So no change of our Guru or our religion is required. Whatever rituals we are doing, we can continue to do. But inside we know, ‘Who am I and who is the doer’. And once we know ‘who am I’, then only our spiritual progress can start.

Ambalal M. Patel was a civil contractor by profession. In June 1958, spontaneous Self-Realization occurred within Ambalal M. Patel. From this point on, Ambalal became a Gnani Purush, and the Lord that manifested within him became known as Dada Bhagwan. A Gnani Purush is One who has realized the Self and is able to help others do the same. Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan used to go from town to town and country-to-country to give satsang (spiritual discourse) and impart the knowledge of the Self, as well as knowledge of harmonious worldly interactions to everyone who came to meet him. This spiritual science, known as Akram Vignan, is the step-less path to Self-realization.
