Lately, my friends and I have been on a total microwave popcorn kick. Trader Joe's sells 130 calorie packages that pop up nice and tastey. It's easy, flavorful, low-cal -- and fiber rich. But more and more, just the thought of the popcorn has been making me feel a little ill. And today, despite this, I bought microwave popcorn from Whole Foods that says there's "no added diacetyl." I thought diacetyl was completely abandoned after the health scares of a few years ago (when microwave popcorn ingestion was linked to lung diseases.)

Are you a microwave popcorn fan? What's your take? Is it an easy way to satisfy your junk food tooth without too much damage, or a palm oil-rich, deacetyl-containing nightmare?
