Family vacations and tours are great ways to spend time with the people who matter to you. You spend time with family and your bond grows stronger. Toronto, as a city, has so much to offer for family outings. There are also destinations that are just a few minutes or hours away from Toronto and you can take your family in a Toronto Party Bus for a fun-filled day. Here is a list of a few places where you can go.

Ostrich Land

Take a trip to the Ostrich Farm in Lincoln. The little ones will love this. And the joy you feel when you see children squealing in fun is something else. Take walks through the wooded trails and dirt. You will meet an ostrich who thinks that he is a human – Prince Charles. That is his name. He doesn’t think he is a prince. I am sure he won’t know who the prince is. Check out the incubator room where you can see how chicks hatch and see the few day-old chicks. The kindergarten area has older birds, but they behave like teenagers. Ostriches are amazing birds and you can interact with them. There is also a gift shop that sells toys, soaps and lotions which you can pick as souvenirs.

Harbourfront

The Harbourfront Centre has been a focal point to all things that relate to culture and creativity. It has programs in culture, education, arts and recreation, all located in the downtown area. DJ skate nights, storytelling festivals, discussions and book signings are all a part of what this place offers. Take your family on a DJ skate night where you skate to music. It is a fun event and you will see many moving to the beats. Get transport from Toronto Party Bus agencies and take your family for a fun outing.

St Thomas and Elgin County

The banks of Lake Erie in the northern side is the location for Elgin County. It is a fun destination for families with natural areas and beaches that are blue flag certified. It is 2 hours away from Mississauga, Brampton and Toronto and only an hour away from Kitchener. The kids - old and young will love the train rides on the Thomas Train. The same train can take you to Port Stanley Beach and enjoy the waves. The next stops are the Port Burwell Marine Museum & Lighthouse, Port Burwell Provincial Park and the Clovermead Adventure Farm. The farm is home to the largest glass beehive display. There is a maze made of bales of hay which can be fun to get through.

Cycling in Humber Valley

This is the best day trip on a bicycle, where you can go up the Humber Valley right up to Kleinburg. Stop at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection and you can have a small picnic. Then come back to the city. The route is scenic, and you see the best of the valley. There are plenty of outdoor activities for fun and enjoyment with your family.

Lake Erie

Take a trip down south and head to the beach here. Lake Erie’s north shore will offer a good space for you to hang with your family. The place has its own culture with a rich history and a Carolinian ecology. The shore of Long Point Bay is a good place to begin. Don’t forget to pack a swimsuit as you enjoy the sun and the sand in this beautiful area. Visiting some of the beaches in Canada can make you feel relaxed.

Credit Valley Explorer

Plan a tour on the most scenic railway in Southern Ontario. Deep valleys, rolling hills, headwaters of rivers and the fall colours are the beautiful backdrop for the rail tour. The highlights of the tour are – Credit River forks, 1146 feet long railway trestle bridge and the Credit Provincial Park Forks.
