The Kansas City Monarchs is returning to the baseball field this year. Last year they went on a six game winning streak and added a few more to their record line. In their first season back at the Kansas City Veterans Memorial Coliseum the Monarchs had a sell out crowd of over 18,000 fans. This was also their first year playing on a baseball field in Kansas City. They have agreed to play some ball again with a deal between T-Bones and Negro.

"This is an exciting time for the Monarchs," said K.C. Stadium Manager, Lee Smith. "They have a very loyal fan base and they will be back in a few months as they prepare for the World Series." Smith has heard all the fanfare about the potential of the Kansas City franchise being brought back to Kansas City and he has every confidence that the team will do well.

The Monarchs wear baseball jerseys and uniform colors that are used by the major league baseball teams. Their primary uniform is blue and their secondary is red. They do have alternates uniforms that are red and blue or white and black, but they use those colors for batting practice and other special occasions. They were the first team to wear the color white and black on their uniforms, but they only decided to change the primary colors when they were moving into K.C. Stadium. So they kept the old name and changed the number to seven because they liked the combination of the letters K.C.
Traditionally, the Monarchs primary color is navy, but they are also known to wear orange and yellow sometimes. However, they tend not to wear those colors too often because the fans can easily recognize them by their camouflage pants. Those are also the primary uniforms of the Kansas City Cowboys football team, so you can probably figure out why they don't wear those colors too often. The K.C. Lions do have one other color besides navy and it's purple, but they only wear it on special occasions. But if you want to dress up as a Lions fan and you know the primary colors, it's easy to find the K.C. Lions jerseys online.

In fact, you can buy tickets online for some of their events. And there are also some other things the club does besides sports that you might be interested in.
