If one is stealing in job, he will get punishment by karmic effect. When somebody is giving some donation, he will get better effect. We get the results of physical karmas (our actions), favorable or unfavorable, in this life itself. And the karmic result of our intention at the time of unfolding of karmas has to be borne in the next life.

1.Seed of karma (in the form of our inner intent)
For example, in past life, we have a thought that ‘nice temples of God should get built; and if possible, I would like to donate something like Rs. 50000/- for the cause’. It is only in our intention; we have not donated a single penny. This is called sowing the seed of karma.

2. Favourable or unfavourable karmic result (in the form of good or bad thoughts and action)
Subsequently, what happens in this life? In our surrounding area, when construction of some temple is being planned, and trustees approach us for some contribution, we immediately think, “Yes, yes, let’s give. It is God’s work, which is very good.” And we give Rs. 50000/-. The action of giving Rs. 50000/- as donation is the fruit of our karma that, “I would like to donate something like Rs. 50000/- for the cause.”

3.Fruits of our thoughts and action (in the form of reward or punishment for our deeds done)
People will then praise us, “Oh! This person is a very good donor. He has given such big donation.” This is the fruit of our action of donating Rs. 50000/- in the form of – people praising us, they make us sit in the front seat during the inauguration of the temple, they garland us and honour us as a donor, etc. Thus the karmic result of our action (the physical karma) comes in the physical form (praise, honour, etc.).

Now, while donating the money, if we think that, “I gave this money. But don’t know, these people seem to be cheats. They are saying the project is of Rs. 10 lakhs, but they must have accumulated Rs. 50 lakhs and may have misappropriated the money, who knows? I wrongly gave this money; I should never give any money now.” While giving the donation, if our intention becomes bad, then we will not be able to give donation in future. Therefore intention and action are 2 separate things.

If you want all favourable results, then you have to decide, ‘I don’t want to hurt anybody through my thoughts or speech or actions.’ When you hurt anybody, unfavourable karmic results will come. But whenever you happen to hurt anybody, if you do pratikraman i.e. feel sorry that “No, this is wrong. I should not hurt anybody”, then automatically good qualities (favourable result) will come in your life.

This means whenever we intend to give slightest pain to any living being, through our thoughts, speech or actions, that karma will certainly give us its fruit in the form of pain. Therefore, we should always maintain a deep inner intent to ‘not hurt anybody through our thoughts, speech and actions’.
We can reverse our wrong intentions by doing pratikraman, sincerely and heartily, in the presence of whichever God we believe in, and thereby save ourselves from the bad fruits of karma. Pratikraman is a 3 step apology, done for our bad thoughts, speech or actions that happen:

•alochana (the process of heartily recalling or confessing our wrong intentions or actions),
•pratikraman (asking for sincere apology with repentance for all our wrongdoings), and
•pratyakhyan (resolve never to repeat these mistakes),
In case you are interested in knowing the further science regarding karmas, here it is...

To support the action with the belief ‘I am the doer’ is the root cause behind all karma.
We generally believe that ‘I did good or bad thoughts. I speak. I did these good or bad deeds’, don’t we? This is our wrong belief because actually, Pure Soul is the real Self, present in every living being in this world. But owing to our ignorance of Self, we believe that ‘I am John (you may insert your name here)’

And from this wrong belief, crops another wrong belief that, ‘I, John, am the doer. I think, I talk, and I act’. Actually, the world is governed by the laws of Nature; no one is the doer as such. So, as long as we support our actions with this wrong belief of, ‘I am the doer’, we continue to create new karmas.

Param Pujya Dadashri says, “Once you come into the nature of the Self, no new karma will bind.
To come into the nature of the Self, first and foremost, it is important to have the knowledge of ‘who am I’ (Self-Realization)!!! In Akram Vignan, the stepless path to Self-Realization, we can discover our real Self with the grace of Akram Gnani, through a 2-hour scientific process of Self-Realization.

Pujya Niruma, a medical student, once heard about Dadashri that He gives knowledge in two hours. She learnt that with this knowledge, you achieve the awareness of separation of your ‘Soul’ from ‘your mind, speech and body’. After that, you remain all the time in Soul, and anything of this world, be it happiness or unhappiness, cannot touch you.

Listening to this, she was amazed, “if, within 2 hours, I can achieve some knowledge by which no worldly unhappiness can touch me, what else can be greater than this in this world for me.” She immediately decided that to get this knowledge is her topmost priority in life now, and then comes her medical studies.

She went and got this knowledge from Dadashri. The power of this knowledge was really unique. After those two hours, the separation between the Soul and the mind, body and speech always remained, and she also experienced that worldly happiness-unhappiness did not touch her.
Just after six months of receiving this knowledge, her father happened to die of a sudden heart-attack. The first thing that came to her mind then was, “My father is a Pure Soul. The Pure Soul never dies. He has only changed his old clothes and got new clothes, which is good for him. If I cry, I am crying for my own sake, not for him.” She was calm and quiet experiencing the bliss of the Soul.

In contrast, only two years before, her mother had died and Niruma was in agony for six long months. But after this knowledge, when her father expired, not even for a second, unhappiness touched her. She completed her medical studies, received certificates, but she was still the same, experiencing the bliss of the Soul within. Through these experiences, she noticed how, without any effort, this knowledge was working within her.
This is called the awakening of the Soul!!!

Listening to this, in case you are intrigued by Pujya Niruma’s experience and getting this knowledge has now become your topmost priority too, you can achieve it from Pujya Deepakbhai Desai in just two hours. It is absolutely free of cost for He is a Gnani, the Enlightened One, who travels throughout the world, and with great compassion, imparts the knowledge of the real Self to anyone who comes seeking for it. Author's Bio:

Ambalal M. Patel was a civil contractor by profession. In June 1958, spontaneous Self-Realization occurred within Ambalal M. Patel. From this point on, Ambalal became a Gnani Purush, and the Lord that manifest within him became known as Dada Bhagwan. A Gnani Purush is One who has realized the Self and is able help others do the same. Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan used to go from town to town and country-to-country to give satsang (spiritual discourse) and impart the knowledge of the Self, as well as knowledge of harmonious worldly interactions to everyone who came to meet him. This spiritual science, known as Akram Vignan, is the step-less path to Self-realization.
