Creativity is a mysterious word. In life creativeness is not limited to human beings. Animals have been highly creative not only in survival but in having a fun time of living. Watching a group of birds play at the ocean begins to look like choreography only where is the master creator there? Plants follow the sun and create a unique space which over time can be crowded out with profuse elation for life. Some plants grow at amazing speeds like bamboo. Others take many seasons to take root. Despite the speed of creative motion, the actual creation boils down to similar parts -- creative genes in action.

Does accelerated learning excite you. Then take joy in life. Even plants react to the emotions of the human beings that talk to them. Give back to yourself joy in learning. Henry Ford said "if you think you can or you think you can't you're right." Strike out with purpose and take it in with joy. Chores wear us down but taking a broom like Fred Astaire and sweeping up while dancing changes the whole paradigm.

Let go of owning the credit for being the one who does it all. That brings helpers like a magnet collects small pieces of metal. Everyone collected in becomes a synergistic piece of the puzzle. Often one can let go and let the internal voice within us sound off. It often solves the problem or gives new direction. Is this reality or is this me hoping? Does it matter if it works? Try it.

"Attitude is more important than facts" is so popular that it brings in hundreds of famous quotes from all around the world. The "is more important than" is followed by many topics. More important than the past, education, money, circumstances, what people do or say, appearance, giftedness or skill -- so says W. C. Fields. Abraham Lincoln said, "Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other one thing."

Attitude is that quality that exudes before we arrive, after we show up and stays around long after we have left. It settles into people and they figure out over time sincerity, honesty, integrity as quickly as they figure out insincerity, dishonesty, and lack of integrity. Perhaps Shakespeare had it right to say "this above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man."

I doubt it is the genes alone that prod our cousin animals to be so delightful at times in their joy in life. I think it is the spirit they capture that leads them to exhibit courage, generosity, fortitude, self-denial for others, and a sense of integrity which preserves this world for their posterity. Curiosity and the joy of finding out have caught many a night crawler in a trap. Opps, once again foiled by that inner desire to know more and find out.

Success is getting up one more time and trying. Success is recognizing that failure is foundation for success. Success is being alert to the opportunity despite any set backs. I am not the first to say these words and will not be the last. The tenacity involved in creating success is failure over and over. Once I forced myself to cook in a crock pot for months. I made eggs, pancakes, soups, and anything I ate in that crock pot. Today I understand the skills needed to cook in a crock pot. And today I understand a bit more about finding success.
