Written by Casey Wright
Is you ex showing signs of wanting to be closer to you more often these days? Noticing these type of signs, and especially signs of flirtation, can be positive if you want to get back with your ex. If this is your situation at the moment, hope is on your side but taking the right steps to get them back for good is necessary.
The most common sign that your ex wants you back is showing you more interest. If you want to get back together with your ex, the best thing to do is not to rush into it. To start with, you will want to play hard to get and you ex will most likely respond to this well.
Diving into things head first will probably only drive your ex partner away. If the signs show that your ex wants you back, then it will probably have come from you playing hard to get in the first place, without you even knowing it.
Both sides will naturally feel a longing for the other when you first break up. This longing is felt strongly for relationships that lasted a year or more. It will be hard not to miss your ex when there are so many shared memories.
If you begin to wonder whether your ex wants to get back with you, then the chances are that your ex will be having similar thoughts. Sometimes an ex can show you interest again but not mean to get back together with you. If they pick up that you still love them, then they may use this affection to get attention.
Be certain that your ex is interested in getting back together before wasting your time giving attention to an ex who hasn't got anything better to do. Worst case senario is that your ex could think they are getting some kind of revenge, rather than being interested in making your relationship work.
For this reason, you should take your time before acting and focus on finding out what the situation is first. Playing hard to get is the next step once you have a good view on the situation at hand. If you do mistake the current situation, then playing hard to get will help protect you if your ex ends up deciding that they do not wish to get back together again.
