Generally we get the name of the medicine by the name of its producing company in relation with the content of the medicine. The physicians always mention the name of that kind of medicine not by the name of the chemical name by which the medicine is prepared. If such happens, probably people can buy the medicine by the genre name that saves the cost. All the permitted company has to produce a quality medicine. Otherwise, the company will not be registered or will be banned by the rule of government of the country. So, prescription drugs are the name given by the company and we have a blind faith on it. The faith is that if we do not have the prescribed drugs the patients will not be cured. So, they buy the costly drugs that the doctor prescribed them by the instigation of medical representatives and they both made their luck.

Through the worldwide, a revolution is beginning to start for establishing the generic medicine. This kind of medicine is made with maintaining the strength, quality, power and all relevant ingredients. The name of the medicine is not given by the name of the company that made it. It is known by the name of its genre. If once it is hugely start to capture the market, the monopoly of prescription drugs will be diminished. The price of drugs will be reduced both the generic medicine and prescription drugs.

Sometimes, we cannot blame to the doctors also for making a prescription of a drug by its brand name as the company of the medicine is reputed one and supplies perfect quality medicines. If the government is active enough for probing into the matter that all the companies will produce quality medicines, the physicians will not make the prescription with a brand name.

Some medicine is not required any prescription to purchase. These are also out of prescription drugs such as some skin lotions, face powder and lotions, skin infection lotions, etc and some other such medicines. Except that, we are now very much aware of internet and websites. Online pharmacy does not need any prescription for making and order from any country. So, these medicines are out of prescriptions also. The online pharmacies are well known to deliver the required medicines in cheap. Though, without prescription we should not buy or sell any medicine, it is still out of the reach area of the law of any country.
