Knowing Your Job; Doing "Your Part"
Written by Pete Koe er
In life, your job is to enjoy your experience. Sometimes that means doing the best you can under any number of circumstances; but it always means doing your part. If, for some reason, you find that you are not enjoying your experience, it is up to you to take steps to change your experience. You can learn to enjoy where you are; or you can learn whatever you need to learn in order to begi
"co-creating" a more enjoyable experience for yourself.
If you are trying to accomplish something in particular, for instance, you'll want to know what it is that you hope to accomplish, and how to go about doing it -- or how to go about learning how to do it. In other words, you need a desire; and you need information. Then, you need to format that information into some sort of plan or request which can then be acted-on faithfully -- with either a great deal of belief, or inspired action.
It is your job to take those obvious action steps as they appear before you. Sometimes the things you ask for seem to "magically" appear; and, even then, you still have a job to do. You must say, "Yes!" to the obvious tasks, requirements, and even gifts that appear in front of you on your way to your desire. And, you must receive, accept, and enjoy -- with gratitude -- those things that come your way. The other part -- the invisible, magical part that seems to be behind some of our prayers being answered -- is simply none of your business.
Whether you think your successes are coming from your own hard-work, or if you think they are Divinely inspired and delivered, you'll find that your job in the process is the same either way. Your duties are simple:
1.) Become aware of your desire, or question.
2.) Form your desire into a question, request, prayer, or plan.
3.) Believe in your desire and plan; and take any obvious and necessary actions toward your desired outcome.
4.) Receive and accept any feedback, guidance, inspirations, answers, gifts, etc, with love, gratitude, and appreciation.
5.) Be patient, be positive, and judge not.
If you can manage these simple steps without worrying about the parts you can't control, or without becoming impatient and "digging up the seed to see if it's growing," you'll find yourself reaping more and more good fruit, or positive results. Your job is really pretty simple; if you can learn to apply these principles to anything you want, you'll be much more effective at achieving or accomplishing those things you wish to experience.
