Let’s Cook Pasta!

Who does not know the pasta? Pasta is one of the favorite types of cuisine around the world. Spaghetti, lasagna, macaroni, only a few of the many other different types of pasta. Cooking pasta is easy but if we want to get the best results we must be careful. There are two kinds of pasta, dried pasta and fresh pasta. Dried pasta can be preserved up to 2 years or more because the water content is only 10 %. You also can enjoy the baked pasta. To serve this pasta is just cook a few second in the microwave.

How To Cook Pastar
Cooking pasta will depend on the type. Fresh pasta will certainly take a short time while dried pasta takes more time 7 to 8 minutes, depending on the brand. But there is one thing to remember, do not leave the pasta when we're cooking.

To start cooking the pasta, fill the pan with water. Pasta should be cooked with a lot of water. Set to boil for cooking pasta. Add salt after the water begins to boil. This will take longer due to salt water usually boils at a higher temperature. Do not forget to add salt because this will add flavor. The Italians do not ever forget to add salt. The salt that you add will depend on your personal taste. Add the pasta slowly after the water boils.

In a few seconds the pasta will soften. You can use a long fork to push the pasta into the water. All the pasta should be completely submerged in water. The water temperature has fallen at this time.

Cover the pasta with the lid then you can boil the water again. It is important that the pot covered for rapid boiling. Do this to prevent hot water splashing or spilling out. Once again, you should never leave a pan; sprinkle water can pour water out of gas and possibly start a fire.

Then continue cooking the pasta, this time without the lid. Stir with a long fork to separate each and every piece of pasta.

If you want to know how long it takes to cook pasta, you can read the instructions on the packaging. But the best is to test a piece. The proper cooking of pasta when it is soft yet still firm and not overcooked.

If you see white stripes or thin spot in the middle of the pasta, the cooking process was not finished yet; the test is from time to time until the broken piece turns to a translucent yellow.

You can use a colander to drain the pasta if the texture is translucent yellow. But make sure that it is in safe position. After that you can flush the pasta with cold water. Pour cold water on it. Drain the pasta, do not shake too hard.

For final results, you can put the pasta in a bowl or plate and then put the sauce on top of pasta; you can also add sprinkle cheese on it. Enjoy your pasta!
